Chapter 5
Chu Mu Yun was reluctant to just accept it, feeling as though he still needed to exert more effort. When Mo Jiu Shao turned to leave he reached out and gently tugged at his sleeve.
Mo Jiu Shao stopped, his gaze softening as he turned back to face him. His voice, gentle as a spring breeze, asked, "What’s wrong?"
Chu Mu Yun lowered his head, biting his lower lip in uncertainty. After a long pause, he spoke in a hesitant, almost fragile tone: "Father…"
"Mm?" Mo Jiu Shao responded, his voice calm. "What is it?"
Chu Mu Yun's grip tightened slightly on Mo Jiu Shao’s sleeve, his fingers pale from the pressure, but he forced himself to ask, his voice barely above a whisper. "Can…can you stay here?"
He couldn’t look up, his eyes dropping to the floor, the weight of his words lingering between them. His long lashes fluttered slightly, like raindrops falling on a delicate surface, trembling but unable to rise.
A flash of something flickered in Mo Jiu Shao’s eyes, but his expression remained serene as he took Chu Mu Yun’s hand gently. His voice, warm and teasing, carried an almost affectionate tone: "You’ve grown up now, and yet you’re still afraid to sleep alone?"
Chu Mu Yun shuddered slightly at the touch, his voice faltering with the embarrassment creeping in: "That’s not it… It’s just… just…"
Mo Jiu Shao interrupted, his smile knowing and soft. "You want to talk, don’t you?"
Relief washed over Chu Mu Yun, and he hastily nodded, eager to explain himself. "Yes, that’s right. Father has been so busy lately… Yun’er hasn’t had a chance to chat with you for a long time."
Mo Jiu Shao had always been indulgent with him. With a soft sigh, he agreed, "Alright, I won’t go. I’ll stay here tonight."
Chu Mu Yun’s eyes widened in surprise. He finally lifted his head to meet Mo Jiu Shao’s gaze, his cheeks flushing with excitement. "I… I’ll go get someone to bring you a quilt."
"No need to trouble them," Mo Jiu Shao replied, "One quilt will be enough."
Chu Mu Yun’s face reddened even further at his words. He nervously added, "Yun’er is afraid of causing offense to Father."
"Silly child." Mo Jiu Shao gently ruffled Chu Mu Yun’s dark hair, his tone tender. "When you first arrived at the Thousand Phoenix Peak, I had to coax you to sleep every night. Why are you worried about it now?"
The young man before him was so open, nervous yet eager, and it only made him more attractive. Mo Jiu Shao watched him, his smile growing deeper at the sight.
Chu Mu Yun, focused on maintaining his act, didn't quite notice Mo Jiu Shao’s reaction. Instead, he turned to Zero for guidance. "Quick, tell me, is Mo Jiu Shao moved yet?"
Zero responded, silent for a long moment before offering a dry reply, "…"
Chu Mu Yun’s frustration grew. "He’s about to get into my bed, and he still hasn’t reacted! This isn’t about being straight—he’s an impotent saint, isn’t he?"
Zero, seemingly resigned, forced out a sentence, "…You’re only fifteen years old. Mo Jiu Shao has been alive for nearly ten thousand years. Are you really sure he’s going to make a move on you?"
Chu Mu Yun fell silent, blinking at the thought.
As the thoughts in his mind dissipated, Mo Jiu Shao had already removed his outer robe. Beneath it, his inner robe, though still modest, clung to his tall, slender frame, revealing the graceful contours of his body. The well-defined muscles, shaped by years of swordsmanship, became more apparent as the misty, translucent robe slipped away. The body that had been trained in swordsmanship all year long seemed very much within his reach.
Chu Mu Yun, who had been trying to figure out Mo Jiu Shao’s sexual orientation, did not expect to find himself in such a predicament that night.
Mo Jiu Shao completely regarded him as a child, allowing him to rest his head on his shoulder. His other hand gently stroked his back, moving up and down as he coaxed him to sleep with earnest care.
However, what Chu Mu Yun was experiencing was entirely different.
Mo Jiu Shao’s body emitted a unique fragrance. From a distance, the scent was soothing, making his entire body feel at ease. But up close, it stirred a deeper sense of infatuation. The fragrance lingered in the air, filling the space with a charming, gentle aura. Combined with the warmth seeping through their thin clothes and the constant movement of his slender fingers on his back…
Chu Mu Yun:"I got hard."
Zero: "……"
The itch clawing at Chu Mu Yun’s heart was intense. He wanted nothing more than to grab that teasing finger, turn over, and press him down—to seal those thin lips with his own, to stain that calm, elegant face with the colors of desire. He longed to coax sweet, trembling moans from him, to cloud his mind and drive him mad, to drag him into a whirlpool of lust—and never let him escape.
Great, I’m even harder now.
But Chu Mu Yun still maintained his composure. If he were to reveal his desires in this situation, he suspected that Mo Jiu Shao’s gentle touch might quickly turn into something far more dangerous.
Being his son, Chu Mu Yun understood all too well how unpredictable this man could be. As much as he admired his appearance, he knew how easily things could shift with Mo Jiu Shao.
And so, on this night, he could only endure his arousal.
He wasn’t sure whether it was intentional or not, but whenever Chu Mu Yun tried to suppress his desires, Mo Jiu Shao’s fingers would brush against places they shouldn’t, reigniting the excitement he had just managed to quell.
And so, he couldn’t fall asleep. To distract himself, he could only chat with Zero.
"I think I’m being pretty obvious. There’s no way Mo Jiu Shao hasn’t figured this out."
Zero: "You understand him the most."
Chu Mu Yun: "That’s why I feel like he’s trying to bait me in, to catch a bigger fish."
Zero: "I don’t understand."
Chu Mu Yun laughed. "What’s the point in just puppy love? Only when enticed with feigned resistance, draggin them deeper and deeper until the desire overcomes them and breaks through the taboo of father and son——that’s when it becomes truly unforgettable, carved into the very marrow.”
"And then, to be betrayed completely—wouldn’t that destroy him even more thoroughly?"
Thinking this through, Chu Mu Yun couldn’t help but smile, as if he had come up with a brilliant idea. "I was wrong. Mo Jiu Shao is neither a straight man nor gay."
Zero couldn’t help but ask, "Then what is he?"
"He..." Chu Mu Yun’s eyes gleamed, "He’s just a crazy guy."
With a flicker in his pupils, Chu Mu Yun formulated a plan. He didn’t need to do much—just take gradual steps into Mo Jiu Shao’s territory. Once he was satisfied, he could seize all the important points, and only then would he have the chance to conquer him.
It was just an act. This was nothing for him.

The next day, Chu Mu Yun was once again determined to persist in his efforts, playing the role of a boy in puberty—a pure young boy who struggled with his own depravity and incestuos desires after being smitten silly by his father… However, he didn’t want to give everything away to Mo Jiu Shao all at once.
After not seeing him for over half a month, the full moon had risen. The steward came over to notify him: "Young master, an honored guest will be arriving soon. I hope my lord will refrain from going out at your leisure."
An honored guest? Chu Mu Yun had a thought.
He knew the story all too well. The only ones who could be considered honored guests at the Thousand Phoenix Palace were one of the other seven lords of the demon realm.
Chu Mu Yun pondered for a moment and then asked with interest, "Does this mean I have the chance to meet my other sons?"
Zero: "I think you’re actually about to see your wife… Ah, no, to be precise, they’re your fellow tops."
Chu Mu Yun fell silent for a moment. "Zero, you're naughty."
