Gu Jinzhi soon saw the fresh, slim figure of his boyfriend. Though Lin Xu wasn’t great at taking photos, Gu Jinzhi adored the intimate, close-up feel.
From the high bridge of his nose to his thin lips, it felt like Lin Xu’s face was right in front of him.
I really want to kiss him to death! Swallow him whole.
“Tsk, you look handsome,” he replied, trying to sound nonchalant despite his inner turmoil.
Lin Xu’s lips curled into a faint smile as he turned his gaze away awkwardly, his clear eyes casually scanning the area.
Just then, a man next to him leaned in and whispered, “Excuse me, could I get through?”
Lin Xu’s brow twitched momentarily before his expression returned to its usual cool demeanor. Ignoring the odd discomfort, he politely moved aside.
However, the man’s leg still inadvertently brushed against Lin Xu’s, and he chuckled softly, complimenting, “Junior, you’ve got long legs.”
Lin Xu squinted at him, nodding reluctantly, while a lingering sense of unease churned within him.
Another man, seated a row away, seemed to sense something and glanced over.
Gu Qi, engaged in a quiet conversation with his assistant, learned that this particular alumnus was known in the gay circle as someone who preferred handsome young men around twenty years old. His previous "dating" targets had been locked on male college students in the sports department in the university town. Now, for some reason, after returning to attend the school reunion, he had set his sights on his own junior.
Gu Qi glanced back at Lin Xu, remembering he was the freshman who had just spoken on stage. It was even more surprising to realize he was not yet twenty.
Despite Gu Qi’s usual disinterest in others’ affairs, he silently shook his head. After all, this was his junior. At over thirty years old, it was rather shameless to be pursuing someone barely out of their teens.
Not long after, the man returned and sat for a while. As the celebration was drawing to a close, he finally couldn't hide his tail anymore and leaned over to whisper to Lin Xu, “Junior, I feel a real connection with you. How about we add each other on WeChat?” His gaze held an unmistakable meaning.
He had just found out that this freshman came from an ordinary background and was not a local. He probably belonged to the kind of people who could be tempted by money.

“No need,” Lin Xu said coldly, having confirmed that the man’s intentions were far from benign.

Lin Xu had never heard such words before in his life. Feeling the man’s hand on his shoulder, he glanced at him, then suddenly wrenched his arm and forcefully twisted it against the wall, causing the man to cry out in pain.
“Senior, I advise you to stop doing this kind of thing. You'll ruin your reputation,” Lin Xu said with a stern face, releasing him and brushing off his sleeves, feeling disgusted.
He had never liked being touched by others, let alone by someone so repulsive.

“At his age, he should be focusing on campus romances. If he wants to join Gu Corporation after graduation, we might keep an eye on him.” Gu Qi had a good impression of such principled juniors.
Back at the villa, Gu Qi saw his younger brother still lazily sprawled on the sofa. Comparing this frustrating younger brother to someone else who was so mature at eighteen, Gu Qi couldn't help but feel a bit disheartened.

The news anchor’s soft voice reported, “Recently, the bidding for the land in the West Economic Development Zone has finally been decided, and it has been acquired by Lin Real Estate. It’s heard that the chairman of Lin Real Estate, along with his wife, is returning to the capital, with their recent appearance in F country just a few days ago.”
The scene quickly shifted to show the husband and wife stepping out of their car.
Gu Jinzhi had little interest in such news. After all, he was only forced to be involved due to work obligations.
