Chapter 51.2 The Market For These Sauces Might Not Be Any Smaller Than My Television Sets.

When Lin Jingzhe opened his eyes tiredly, he realized that the two of them were too eager and had forgotten to draw the curtains. It was already nighttime, and small glimpses of moonlight seeped through the gaps of the dense trees. It was completely peaceful and quiet.

This room had the best view in the whole house. The former owner had decorated this area as the master bedroom, and Lin Jingzhe followed his design. The arc-shaped French windows face Dongtai Lake with a panoramic view of the sparkling lake among the shadows of the trees. The best position to admire this view was sitting on the master bedroom bed. Lin Jingzhe was momentarily stunned——

One would feel lonely if they were to appreciate such a beautiful night scene for too long.

Only when a hot and humid breath fell on the back of his neck did Lin Jingzhe come back to his senses. His attention turned to the hot body that was tightly attached to his back. He slid his hand into the blanket and tried to pull those clinging hands off, but could not break free from Xiao Chi's tight grip.

One could only hear the sounds of a heartbeat and breathing in the middle of the night. Though Lin Jingzhe's body felt uncomfortable and fatigued, it was not too serious. He relaxed as he turned in Xiao Chi's embrace. He studied his face under the bright moonlight.

It was not easy to exert the strength that almost knocked Lin Jingzhe unconscious and almost made his soul leave his body. Xiao Chi slept very deeply, after all, he was a real laborer just now.

Lin Jingzhe turned his face sideways. He looked from the tip of Xiao Chi's high nose to his pair of peacefully resting eyelids. Xiao Chi had a beautifully defined face, even looking from the chin up, he was still handsome. His hair was also messed up by Lin Jingzhe during their activity just now, and it was spread messily on the pillow.

Lin Jingzhe soon realized that he hadn't taken a shower. Both of them were very tired after their workout, and he didn't even remember when he fell asleep.

It was also a source of happiness to wake up and find that he wasn’t alone. Lin Jingzhe raised his hand and slid his fingertips on Xiao Chi’s defined jawline, and his eyes softened.

But in the next second, he suddenly thought of something and quickly turned his head to look at the clock on the bedside table.

It's almost ten o'clock!

He immediately stretched out his hand and pushed Xiao Chi. The latter was still half-asleep as he continued to hold Lin Jingzhe down with his strong arm. Xiao Chi half propped himself up and onto Lin Jingzhe's body, slightly moved, readjusted his position, and buried his head in Lin Jingzhe's neck.

Lin Jingzhe was panting lightly from the light licking at his neck. His body which had not completely calmed down was quickly ignited again. But he managed to break free with the bit of remaining will and struggled to wake Xiao Chi up. "Xiao Chi? Wake up, it's almost ten o'clock. Don't you need to go home?"

Xiao Chi finally woke up after being pushed by Lin Jingzhe. He raised his head and looked blankly at the moonlight outside the window, and then his eyes fell on the analogue clock that was still turning continuously.

He stretched out his hand to pull back his hair, narrowed his eyes sleepily, and kissed Lin Jingzhe's forehead and cheek a few times. He then raised his hand and patted Lin Jingzhe's upper body gently through the quilt. There was a slight rubbing sound from the friction of the blanket and his body. He got out of bed and didn’t bother to turn on the lights and went into the bathroom in the dark. Then the dim light came on through the door, and there was the sound of splashing water inside.

Lin Jingzhe continued to lay in bed as he stared at the light spilling from the crack of the door for a while. He then turned the other way and moved closer to the pillow that Xiao Chi was lying on; he could still smell a little bit of his scent.

A few minutes later, Lin Jingzhe also got up. He turned on the lamp by the bed, and using the light, he swept the disassembled cond*m bags on the bedside table into the trash can. Afterwards, he silently picked up the clothes that Xiao Chi threw on the ground because he was in such a rush, shook them off, and threw them on the bed. This way, it would be more convenient for Xiao Chi to wear it directly after his shower.

The sound of water in the bathroom stopped, and the buzzing of the hair dryer started. After listening for a while, Lin Jingzhe yawned, got back into the bed, and lay down with his back facing the bathroom.

A moment later, there was the sound of the bathroom door being opened. The hum of the dehumidifier leaked from the crack of the door, which was blocked by the re-closed door. Xiao Chi approached with his slippers on, his voice carried an obvious sluggishness, "Aren't you taking a bath?"

Lin Jingzhe was a little tired. He wanted to wait for Xiao Chi to leave before taking a shower, so he just said perfunctorily "I'm sleepy."

Xiao Chi just hummed. The other half of the blanket shook slightly, there was a rustling sound, and then a wave of steaming heat came from behind, completely surrounding Lin Jingzhe.

Xiao Chi put his arms around his body, rubbed his face against the top of his head, and then stopped peacefully——

And then stopped moving.

Xiao Chi’s breathing gradually slowed. Lin Jingzhe waited quietly for a moment, then turned his head, and shook his body. "Aren't you going home?"

"Ah?" Xiao Chi was repeatedly woken up. He opened his eyes and looked at Lin Jingzhe with difficulty. It took him a long time to understand what the latter had meant. He couldn't help but be very puzzled, "Aren’t I here?"

He was so drowsy that he closed his eyes again after saying this, but his hands still subconsciously hugged the thin body in his arms.

Using his elbows as support, Lin Jingzhe got up in a daze and stared at Xiao Chi’s face for a while. After Xiao Chi washed and blow-dried his hair, his originally styled hair was now fluffy and loose, like a sleeping beast.

The pile of clothes spread on the blanket just now was swept to the ground again.

The hand around his waist was able and strong, and every inch of his skin was exuding warmth.

Lin Jingzhe lowered his eyes. He then turned his body and carefully pressed his cheek against Xiao Chi's naked chest.

The regular heartbeat from his chest rang in Lin Jingzhe’s ears one after another, thumping at a constant rate.

In such a regular rhythm, his constantly running mind suddenly longed for a good night's sleep.

******

Early the next morning, Lin Jingzhe woke up under sheets that were heated by the scorching sun. He was still a little dazed when he got up.

His body was slightly uncomfortable, but it was still tolerable. They had prepared meticulously last night so he was not injured; only physically exhausted from all their exercise.

He was the only one in the room but the room seemed to have been tidied up. The clothes that were thrown on the floor last night were all gone, and the strong fragrance that surrounded him the entire night still lingered in the air. The clock on the bedside table pointed at a little past eleven.

He suddenly came back to his senses and lifted the blanket.

There are a few pieces of clothes folded neatly on top of the bed. These clothes were his and should have been hung in the cloakroom. Lin Jingzhe unfolded them and unexpectedly found that the jacket and pants matched. The color and style were very in line with his current aesthetics.

Lin Jingzhe didn’t have much of a reaction and silently went into the bathroom to take a shower. When washing his face, his eyes quickly passed over the two toothbrushes placed side by side on the shelf. The blue one belonged to Xiao Chi, which he had himself. It was unpacked, and the bristle on the brush was touching his gray brush’s bristle. Such a small gesture exuded the feeling of ‘home’.

He turned his eyes away, went back to the bedroom, and silently put on the two articles of clothing stacked by the bed.

When did Xiao Chi leave? Midnight? He didn't even notice it, probably because he was too sound asleep.

Lin Jingzhe lazily opened the door of his quiet new home, but the next second, the sound of footsteps downstairs interrupted the chaotic thoughts in his mind.

Xiao Chi's figure came out from the corner. Although he had already put on a suit, he was still barefoot. He was looking around as if searching for something. The moment he saw Lin Jingzhe, his eyes lit up.

"You’re up?" Xiao Chi quickly stepped forward and hugged Lin Jingzhe's waist. Since he was still in a daze, Lin Jingzhe allowed Xiao Chi to give him an onslaught of good morning kisses. Xiao Chi kept him in his embrace as he lightly asked, " Is there any hair gel at home? I searched several bathrooms but couldn’t find any.”

"Hair gel?" Lin Jingzhe stared at Xiao Chi’s fluffy hair, and it took a while for him to react. He quickly concealed the unnatural expression on his face and turned his head away. "Ah, gel? You didn't find it? "

Xiao Chi replied, "No."

"Oh, I guess it's not there then." Lin Jingzhe nodded. "Maybe Deng Mai forgot to buy it."

He stared at Xiao Chi's tidy clothes again and asked with some confusion, " Are these clothes from yesterday? They aren’t wrinkled?"

A soft smile appeared in Xiao Chi's eyes. "Of course not. I had those clothes sent to the dry cleaners. I brought these in my car last night."

After he finished speaking, Xiao Chi’s hand grasped Lin Jingzhe's hand as they both walked downstairs. Only then did Lin Jingzhe see a large luggage bag that he hadn't noticed yesterday right before the staircase. Xiao Chi hadn't forgotten about his hair, "I’ll buy some hair before I come back from work. What kind of scent do you like? Is mint okay?"

Lin Jingzhe focused on ‘after work’ and ‘come back’ as he answered absent-mindedly, "Just buy what you are used to."

After reaching the first floor, Lin Jingzhe was stunned again.

Two sets of plates were placed on the spacious table in the living room. There was also a small casserole placed in the center of the table, along with a few simple side dishes around it.

Xiao Chi pulled Lin Jingzhe to sit down at the table. He served him a small bowl of hot porridge from the casserole, then turned around and sat in the seat beside him and continued to watch as Lin Jingzhe ate.

Lin Jingzhe was completely overwhelmed by the constant surprises he had received ever since he woke up. After the hot thick porridge padded his stomach, he regained some of his rationality. He looked at Xiao Chi’s expression with complicated eyes, "You haven't gone to work yet?"

"I’m already late, so it doesn’t matter if I delay some more." Xiao Chi raised his hand and glanced at the watch on his wrist before he continued with a matter-of-fact tone, "Take your time eating, we’ll leave at half past eleven. I'll drop you off first— By the way, do you want to go to the hospital first? Does it still hurt? "

Lin Jingzhe silently chewed and raised his eyes to look at him, then shook his head gently.

Xiao Chi stared back at him. He lowered his eyes and displayed a not-so-clear smile. "That's good."
