Chapter 44.2 Why does everyone think he and Xiao Chi had bad blood? He was obviously thinking about how to do ‘this and that’ all day. (Part 2)

Recalling the slamming sounds he thought he had misheard, Hu Shaofeng quickly became anxious. It couldn’t be…

This was no joke! In case something goes wrong! The two acted tacitly. And at almost the same time——

Deng Mai knocked on the door and shouted: "Brother Lin! Brother Lin!!"

Hu Shaofeng frantically twisted the doorknob, and almost wanted the administration department to find a locksmith: "Brother Xiao! Brother Xiao!!"

The secretarial department was also startled by their movement. They all stopped their work and watched in a daze. Hu Shaofeng waved at them, "Call the phones in Mr. Xiao’s office!!"

For a while, the landline behind the door and the mobile phone rang one after another. During this period, Hu Shaofeng continued to listen closely and heard a few vague hums. The door also lightly shook as if someone or something had collided against it. Feeling more and more tense and uneasy, Hu Shaofeng realized he could no longer just stand still.

He had one of the secretaries contact the administration department to find a locksmith to break open the door.

Under the expectant eyes of everyone, the locksmith came running with a tool box on his back. Just as he leaned over to open the lid of his tool box, a soft sound came from the locked door.

Then, the handle began to turn. Everyone watched as the previously locked door, which had been silent for so long, slowly opened.

Xiao Chi's expressionless face appeared from behind the door. Although he looked the same as usual, everyone subconsciously held their breath when they saw him. The rims of his eyes were slightly red. Coupled with the strong momentum wrapped in anger that surged behind him, he looked truly frightening. There was an odd smell, which lingered only for a moment. After the door was completely opened, the building’s central circulation system  returned the scent back to the usual faint woody aroma.

Xiao Chi's voice was hoarser than usual. "What are you all doing just standing around!"

The staff of the secretarial department and the administration department immediately scattered. The locksmith quickly ran away with his toolbox on his back. Xiao Chi's intense gaze turned away from the crowd, past Deng Mai, and finally landed on Hu Shaofeng.

“…………………”

Hu Shaofeng's scalp went numb by that terrifying reddish gaze. He coughed and asked, "...Brother Xiao, are you alright?"

"Mr. Xiao." Although Deng Mai was also a little frightened by his momentum, he still interrupted with a greeting. Afterwards, he immediately moved his vigilant eyes into the office room.

The inside was a little different from when he left just now. All the windows were  open, and a strong gust of wind was blowing in. Within the high rise office building, the curtains were unfurling like sails.

Xiao Chi withdrew his gaze angrily. He turned around and re-entered the office without closing the door behind him.

Deng Mai hurried to catch up, acting one step faster than Hu Shaofeng. Immediately after entering the room, he looked around and found Lin Jingzhe. The latter was leaning on a sofa with his eyes closed.

Good, there were no bruises on his face!

However, Lin Jingzhe's clothes seemed more wrinkled than when he left, and his mouth was also redder than before!

Deng Mai searched Lin Jingzhe’s face repeatedly but couldn't confirm anything. At that moment, Lin Jingzhe opened his eyes and looked at him. His hazy eyes, that were slightly smiling but also seemed to be obscured by mist, narrowed. His gaze first swept over Deng Mai and Hu Shaofeng, and then landed on Xiao Chi inexplicably.

He opened his mouth, as if he wanted to speak, but the first thing that came out was a laugh: "Pfft——"

As if a switch had been flipped, Lin Jingzhe could no longer hold back his laughter. He leaned back against the sofa, his right arm resting on his forehead. He was in an unbelievably languid state, like a satiated cat, trembling from laughter.

Deng Mai and Hu Shaofeng looked at each other, equally confused. They just silently watched the standing Xiao Chi glare at Lin Jingzhe.

His gaze was as sharp as a recently honed weapon, even more imposing than before. It made him look furious to the extreme, and Lin Jingzhe was his opponent who was oblivious to his murderous gaze.

Hu Shaofeng's back was drenched in cold sweat. He and Xiao Chi grew up together and were inseparable friends. He knew Xiao Chi's supposedly violent nature was just a display.. Even so, he had never felt such a tyrannical aura before this.

It was absolutely impossible for these two people to not have bad blood between them. Lin Jingzhe may have even gotten the upper hand in their dispute in the office room earlier. Xiao Chi’s meticulously fixed hair had been completely messed up… The battle must have been so intense!

In that moment, Hu Shaofeng felt infinite awe for Lin Jingzhe. This was the very embodiment of the saying ‘do not judge a book by its cover’. To think he had even thought that Lin Jingzhe was a harmless little white rabbit at first. Dear Lord!

He had personally experienced Xiao Chi's strength, which was at the level where he could throw a person out by just their collar!

Lin Jingzhe was truly unafraid of death. Unfazed by Xiao Chi’s intimidation, after he finished laughing, Lin Jingzhe rested his chin on his hand to look at him directly. He squinted his eyes and said leisurely, "Mr. Xiao, it's getting late. I had a great time."

Xiao Chi silently stared at his beautifully curved eyes for a while. He then replied in a hoarse voice, "I'll see you off."

The group left the office room and walked towards the elevator outside. Along the way, many employees, who heard their dispute just now, occasionally glanced at them with curious eyes.

Lin Jingzhe was unperturbed by their stares; on the contrary, his smile became more apparent. His handsome face, with eyes full of joy, was coupled with an indolent and satisfied aura. He looked like a peacock spreading its tail, trying to tell the whole world he was ready for courtship.

Xiao Chi really wanted to wrap Lin Jingzhe up in a piece of cloth and lock him up at home. With a fierce look in his eyes, he glared back at those loitering eyes that were supposed to be hard at work.

Besides their cars, the two parties formally bid their farewell. Lin Jingzhe stretched out his hand and said, "Take care, Mr. Xiao. You should go up now and continue working."

Xiao Chi stretched out his hand to shake hands with him. He locked eyes with Lin Jingzhe and saw the sly smile, which hinted at the secret only the two of them knew of. The cool fingers in his hand carrassed his palm wantonly in an angle where no one could see. Xiao Chi’s adam's apple bobbed up and down, and in his other hand he clenched his beads tighter. He silently recited two scripture lines, but couldn't remember the rest of the words.

Pure evil!

He really wanted to push Lin Jingzhe into the car, strip off his pants, and give him a hard lesson right then and there. Unfortunately, Xiao Chi could only answer in a hoarse voice, "Mr Lin, drive safely."

Their hands were locked together for a long time, as if they were holding hands. With a provoking smile, Lin Jingzhe quickly glanced down at a certain place, and thanked him calmly: "Thank you, Mr. Xiao, for your generosity–"

He said the word ‘generosity’ very lightly, his voice barely above a whisper. Xiao Chi took a deep breath, glanced at both sides, and with a sudden tug on his hand, he dragged Lin Jingzhe away from the crowd.

Even though he was so forcefully dragged away, the smile on Lin Jingzhe’s face remained unchanged. He obediently followed Xiao Chi to leave and even leisurely waved to the others who were left stunned by the sudden change. "Wait there.”

Lin Jingzhe was taken to a stairwell on the side of the office building.

The moment the door closed, Xiao Chi pulled him into his embrace, buried his face in his neck and let out a hot breath of air.

Lin Jingzhe laughed, put his hands on his shoulders, and then slowly slid them down to touch Xiao Chi’s pants.

Xiao Chi pushed the back of Lin Jingzhe’s hand with his own, not allowing him to provoke him anymore.

Lin Jingzhe wanted to look at Xiao Chi's expression, but the latter kept his head down and said in a deep voice: "Stop moving."

Was Lin Jingzhe the type to listen? Although the back of his hand was held down, it didn't hinder his flexible fingers.

He was full of good intent. "Let me help you."

Xiao Chi's breath was a little ragged. He leaned down and bit Lin Jingzhe’s neck hard, then quickly grabbed the latter’s hand. He squeezed it in the palm of his own hand, completely stopping the other from moving.

Although track pants were looser in fit, ‘it’ was still visible once stood up.

With his hands and feet all restrained, Lin Jingzhe could only be amused by Xiao Chi's hilarious reaction. Still unsatisfied and wanting to continue to tease him, Lin Jingzhe said in a reluctant voice, "Then, I’ll help you with my mouth—"

Xiao Chi visibly jolted at his words, but there was nothing he could do. He could only helplessly raise his head, and fixate his mouth on those chattering lips.

Lin Jingzhe kissed him back obediently. Now that he finally got a look at Xiao Chi,  Lin Jingzhe noticed that his whole face had actually reddened.

In the end, everything that happened in the office had been very satisfying, so Lin Jingzhe finally felt that he had gone a bit overboard just now. It seemed that he had just discovered an unknown side of this seemingly boring f*ck-buddy. In a moment of softheartedness, Lin Jingzhe gently touched Xiao Chi's cheek.

Xiao Chi let go of his lips and looked down at him, "My house for dinner?"

When Lin Jingzhe received the invitation, he was inwardly preparing himself for a fun night, "You live alone?"

"No, there’s my younger sister, my parents." Xiao Chi thought for a while and added, "And my grandmother."

Lin Jingzhe: "!!!"

What the fuck! Is he sick in the head? Why would he want to introduce his friend-with-benefit to his family? Lin Jingzhe was at a loss for words. The soft bed that was originally associated with the word ‘house’ was immediately driven out of his mind. He quickly shook his head: "No! No can do."

Xiao Chi looked a little disappointed. "No? But my parents are rarely at home."

More reasons not to go! Lin Jingzhe shook his head rapidly.

Xiao Chi lowered his eyes, not quite understanding why the other party refused. Perhaps their relationship had only just been confirmed, so Lin Jingzhe probably wasn't ready yet.

Coming to this conclusion, Xiao Chi didn't insist any more. He lightly pinched Lin Jingzhe's cheek and said in a gentle voice: "Okay, be careful on the way back."

At that moment, Lin Jingzhe suddenly had an illusion that they were a couple in love. He stared at Xiao Chi, whose sharp eyes had no intention of hiding the tenderness within. He was stunned by his own thoughts, but quickly dispelled the notion that they were a 'couple' with a laugh.
